Data retention and deletion
How long AI CodeOps keeps sessions, audit records, delivery logs and backups, how to export your account data, how deletion works, and how your code is used.
This page covers what AI CodeOps keeps, for how long, and how to get a copy of your data or delete it. The legal terms are in the Privacy Policy.
How long data is kept
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Workspace content: tasks, sessions and their output, changes, findings, approvals, plans | As long as the workspace exists |
| Audit log and policy decisions | 7 days on Free, 90 days on Pro, as long as the organization exists on Enterprise |
| Account-level audit events, such as sign-ins and two-factor changes | 7 days |
| Audit records of a deleted workspace | 7 days |
| Webhook delivery history for notification endpoints | 30 days |
| Sign-in sessions | 7 days after they expire; 45 days after you sign out |
| Sign-in challenges | Until the day after they expire |
| Request counters per IP address | 2 days |
| Billing and usage records | As long as tax and accounting law requires, also after deletion |
| Database backups | 7 days, or up to 30 days with continuous off-site backups |
Expired records are removed by a daily clean-up. Deleted data disappears from backups once those backups age out.

Export your data
You can download everything AI CodeOps holds about your account at any time.
- Open Configure → Settings.
- Find Your data and the row Export your data.
- Choose Download.
You get a JSON file named aicodeops-export-<account-id>.json. It includes your profile, sign-in identities and sessions, workspace and organization memberships, connected Git accounts, two-factor methods, API key names, the tasks you ran and their results, approvals, invitations, support tickets and your audit events. Secret values and keys are not included.
Delete your account
- Open Configure → Settings and scroll to Danger Zone.
- Choose Delete account.
- Type
DELETEand choose Permanently delete.
Deletion takes effect at once and can't be undone:
- Your account is erased, along with every workspace where you are the only member.
- In workspaces others still use, the workspace and its content stay with its organization.
- Audit records that are kept are anonymized: your account ID, IP address, browser and email address are removed. They are then deleted on the normal schedule.
- Billing and usage records are kept as the law requires.
Delete a workspace or organization
There is no button for deleting a single workspace or a whole organization in the console. When an organization is deleted, every workspace in it is deleted with its content. To delete one, the organization owner can contact support.
How your code and prompts are used
When a session runs, its task, the code and files it works on, and its output are sent to an AI model provider: either the provider your workspace connects with its own key, or the provider the platform uses, named on the Trust page.
- AI CodeOps doesn't use your content to train or fine-tune AI models, and doesn't sell it.
- Model providers process your content under their own API terms, including how long they keep it. Check those terms for any provider you connect yourself.
