# Contact support

> Get help with AI CodeOps: ask the in-console Help assistant, open a support ticket, email the team, check the status page, or report a security issue.

There are three ways to get help: ask the Help assistant, open a ticket with the support team, or email us. For outages, check the status page first.

## Ask the Help assistant

Every workspace has a **Help** button in the bottom-right corner.

1. Choose **Help**. The **Ask** tab opens.
2. Type your question, for example "How do I add a teammate?", and choose **Ask**.
3. Ask follow-up questions in the same conversation, or choose **New conversation** to start over.

The assistant answers from the AI CodeOps Help Center and knows your workspace's plan and remaining allowance. It can't change anything in your workspace. If it can't help, for example with billing disputes, account access or bugs, it offers **Contact support with this conversation**.

The assistant uses an AI model: your workspace's own provider if you've connected one, otherwise the platform's Economy tier within your allowance. You can ask up to 30 questions in 10 minutes.

## Open a support ticket

1. Choose **Help**, then the **Contact support** tab.
2. Enter a **Subject** and describe **What do you need help with?**
3. Leave **Attach my conversation with the Help assistant** ticked if you talked to the assistant first; it saves you repeating yourself.
4. Choose **Send to support**.

A person from support replies to your account's email address. You can open up to 5 tickets an hour.

### Follow a ticket

Open **Help → My tickets** to see your tickets in this workspace and their status:

| Status | Meaning |
| ------------------- | ----------------------------------------- |
| Waiting for support | Your ticket or latest message is with us. |
| Answered | Support replied. Check your email. |
| Closed | The ticket is done. |

Add a message to any ticket with **Add a message** and **Send**. Replying reopens an answered or closed ticket.

## Email

Not signed in, or can't reach your workspace? Email [support@aicodeops.dev](mailto:support@aicodeops.dev). For legal notices and privacy requests, email [legal@aicodeops.dev](mailto:legal@aicodeops.dev). Both are listed on the [Contact page](https://aicodeops.dev/contact).

For an Enterprise plan, SSO or a self-hosted Enterprise deployment, use the contact form on the [Enterprise page](https://aicodeops.dev/enterprise).

## Check service status

The [status page](https://aicodeops.dev/status) shows the live health of the platform's components, such as the database, Redis, secret encryption and the event bus, and the result of a regular synthetic check. It refreshes every 30 seconds. During the open beta there is no SLA.

## Report a security issue

Email [support@aicodeops.dev](mailto:support@aicodeops.dev) with "Security" in the subject. Please don't test against other customers' data. We acknowledge your report and keep you updated while we fix it.

The contact is also published at `/.well-known/security.txt`. Our practices are described on the [Security page](https://aicodeops.dev/security).

## Before you write

Many problems have a quick fix in [Troubleshooting](https://aicodeops.dev/docs/troubleshooting) or the [FAQ](https://aicodeops.dev/docs/faq). If you write to us, include:

- the workspace name;
- the session or page where it happened, with a link if you have one;
- what you expected and what you saw, including any error message.

## Frequently asked questions

### How quickly does support reply?

There is no guaranteed response time during the open beta. A person from support replies by email, and the reply also appears under My tickets.

### Does asking the Help assistant use my allowance?

Yes, when it runs on the platform's models. If your workspace has its own provider key, it uses that instead.

### How do I report a security vulnerability?

Email support@aicodeops.dev with "Security" in the subject. Don't test against other customers' data.
